Nanomerics Continues Support for RSC Broadening Horizons Programme for Fourth Consecutive Year

Nanomerics Ltd. is proud to reaffirm its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the chemical sciences by participating for the fourth consecutive year as an industry partner in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s (RSC) Broadening Horizons in the Chemical Sciences programme. As one of the founding industry partners since the programme’s inception in 2022, Nanomerics continues to champion the development of future scientific leaders from minoritised racial and ethnic backgrounds.
This year’s programme marks a significant milestone – the conclusion of its pilot phase – with over 400 scholars having participated since launch. Nanomerics joined industry leaders, such as AstraZeneca and GSK in welcoming the 2025/2026 cohort at the RSC’s taster event in Manchester. The event featured a dynamic Careers Panel, where Nanomerics’ Director of Preclinical Research and Development, Dr Ilona Kubajewska, served as a panellist and shared personal insights and career journey stories alongside other distinguished panellists. Panellists sought to offer guidance and inspiration to the next generation of chemists.

Throughout the event, Nanomerics showcased its cutting-edge research in nanomedicines and its award-winning clinical-stage Molecular Envelope Technology (MET), which is currently being developed for therapeutic applications in ophthalmology and neurology. Delegates had the opportunity to interact directly with Nanomerics scientists during speed networking and one-to-one sessions, gaining valuable insights in pharmaceutical innovation and diverse career pathways in the chemical sciences.
