Investiture of CSO IF Uchegbu DBE

Buckingham Palace London, Thursday 26th June 2025. Nanomerics’ Chief Scientific Officer’s investiture was held at Buckingham Palace on Thursday 26th June 2025. At the ceremony, held in the Throne Room, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne presented Professor Dame Ijeoma Florence Uchegbu with the insignia and medals of the Dame Commander of the Most Excellent British Empire.

The award was made in recognition of Professor Dame Uchegbu’s services to the Chemical Sciences and to Inclusion and Diversity. The award recognises Nanomerics’ work aimed at bringing new efficacious medicines to patients in the areas of pain relief and sight threatening eye conditions.
